2.1 Journal Response

Graphs were done on a separate piece of paper.

System 1

  • System 1 has one intersection. They don't have the same slope.
  • System 2 has no intersections. They have the same slope.
  • System 3 has the same line. Has no intersections. The have the same slope.

2.2 Journal Response

One method is solving algebraically which you use a process of elimination or substitution. Another method is solving using graphs by writing your answers in coordinate form. A third method is by verbal representation where you find the Independent variable and dependent variable and write equations using addition or subtraction.

2.3 Journal response

  • 2x+1000
  • The y-intercept of both lines is 1200.
  • The slope of the red line is 2. The slope of the blue line is 3.
  • The red account because you don't have to pay so much for saving a month, but it will take longer. It is always true because you do not have to hustle as much money a month to stay on track and the less the slope in terms of money over time is better.
